Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
Respiratory Therapist experience
2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS
PALS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

PALS certification

Role Highlights

Provides respiratory care across all patient populations
Performs oxygen therapy assessment and administration
Recognizes and responds to cardiopulmonary arrest and other emergent respiratory situations
Manages ventilators and performs complex ventilatory management
Analyzes arterial blood samples and recommends appropriate interventions
Educates patients and families on respiratory procedures and disease processes
