Role
- Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg, nights.
Location
- Des Moines, Iowa
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license.
Contract
- 13 weeks

- NBO: 16 hrs
Unit / Assignment Details
- Bed size: 25
- Patient ratio: 1:6-7
- Patient types: general, abdominal
- Drips/titrations: heparin
- Must float across all campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience in a hospital setting
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- Heparin experience
- Experience with Epic
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent/current Level I trauma experience
Additional Requirements
- No 1st time travelers
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
