Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Care for a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Shift & Hours

• Night shift
• 12 hours per day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma.
• Required certifications (specific certifications not listed, but candidates without them may still be considered).

Additional Information

• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
• On-call pay is provided at a fixed hourly rate with a minimum of one hour.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
• No increased pay rates for overtime, holidays, or call-back hours.
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after their direct employment ended.

Patient Population

• Infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
