Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care (Nights)

Job Description

• Provide nursing care under supervision, including assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care for a group of residents/patients during a shift.
• Manage the environment to maintain resident/patient safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and helpers in resident/patient care activities.
• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and standards of care, including the State Nurse Practice Act and JCAHO standards.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service aligned with core principles of exceptional care, passionate service, and unexpected luxury.
• Adhere to the facility’s dress code: matching scrubs preferred in gray or purple.
• Flexible scheduling required; blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Long Term Care, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting.
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Previous travel nursing experience.

Shift Details

• Night shift.

Other Information

• Overtime is billable after 40 hours at the standard rate.
• Holiday and callback pay at 1.25x the standard rate, with a minimum of 2 hours for any callback.
• Orientation hours are non-billable.
• Travelers must clock out to ensure proper compensation.
