Job Description

• Position: Med/Surg Tele RN
• Shift: Day shifts, 3 - 12 hour shifts
• Experience Required: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• License: Must have a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license
• Certifications Required:

  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Additional Requirements:

  • Must work at least every other holiday
  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Documentation Requirements

• Government-Issued Photo ID: Required to carry while on assignment
• Certifications:

  • BLS and ACLS required; must renew if expiring within 30 days of start
  • Other certifications may be required based on unit specifics (e.g., PALS, NRP, etc.)
• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam within a year of start
  • Fit Mask certification within 12 months
  • Vaccinations (e.g., Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B) as per facility requirements
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months
  • Standard 10 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months
  • Flu Vaccine or medical/religious exemption during flu season

Background and References

• Background check required prior to start
• 2 references from recent employment required

Application Requirements

• Must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting

Onboarding Process

• Completion of online training modules required prior to start
• Fingerprinting required within 12 months of start
