Requirements

• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
  • CHEMO (Chemotherapy)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• Special Requirements:

  • Level 1 Trauma experience required
  • Charge experience preferred
  • Must work 2/3 major holidays
  • Refusal to float may end in termination of contract

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Post Operative - Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho, etc. & some pre-op patients
• Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented community

Additional Information

• Guaranteed Hours:

  • 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek
  • 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek
  • 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within 12 months of start
• Fit Mask: Required within 12 months of start
• Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen from within 12 months of start
• Vaccinations:

  • Proof of Flu vaccination required
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccinations required
  • Tuberculin Skin Test (PPD), QuantiFERON-TB Gold, or T-SPOT required within 1 year of start

References

• Minimum of 2 references required from recent employment, verified within 2 years of start date.
