Required Qualifications

• Valid Hospital Pharmacist license in Virginia
• Hospital Pharmacist (3 years of experience)
• Hospital Pharmacist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience in an Inpatient setting
• Intravenous (IV) experience
• Pharmacotherapy management
• Pyxis experience
• Carousel System experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• PharmD or RPh
• Pharmacy residency from an accredited ASHP institution
• Intravenous experience
• Pharmacotherapy management experience
• Previous experience in a computerized hospital pharmacy setting
• Pyxis skills
• Carousel System skills
• Epic skills

Additional Notes

• Strong acute care experience is emphasized as a hard stop
• Recent retail-only experience within the last 3 years is not acceptable
• The role is described as a “pharmacist as practitioner” model with a high degree of autonomy
