Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Details

• Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7pm - 7am (3x12 night shifts)
• On Call: Yes, 2-4 days per month
• Floating: Yes, clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Radius Rule: Candidate’s address must be greater than 75 miles from contracted facility
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 5 days of RTO accepted
• Charting System: Epic
• First-timers Accepted: Yes

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (R)(CT)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - mandatory hard stop
• Driver’s License: Current and valid driver’s license required
• Utility Bill: Must have a utility bill in the traveler’s name with matching address within the last 3 months (address must be >75 miles from facility)

Prior Travel Experience

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Background checks including 7-year criminal background check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC sanctions list search
• Education verification with transcript/diploma
• Physical exam within 1 year stating good health and no physical limitations
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
• Immunizations/vaccinations:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (valid 10 years, Tdap mandatory for certain units)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination series or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox)
  • Flu seasonal vaccination (required for new starts during flu season)
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including marijuana (required within 30 days prior to start)
• Facility-specific documents including policy acknowledgments, code of ethical conduct, drug and alcohol-free workplace policy, offender registration act, responsibilities and rights, fingerprinting and screening requirements
• Fit mask testing to be completed onsite on first day
• References: Two former direct supervisor references required (one within 1 year, one within 3 years)
• Work history verification for last 10 years including international positions
• Skills checklist and competency exams updated annually

Additional Notes

• Floating to sister facilities is required within scope
• No pending state license accepted
• Locals not accepted (must be outside 75-mile radius)
• Must comply with all facility-specific orientation and training requirements, including EPIC training if no recent experience
• Must complete all required competency exams and certifications as per facility standards

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience, who are comfortable working night shifts on weekends, and are willing to travel outside their local area.
