Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work closely with radiology to perform diagnostic testing, specifically MRI.
- Provide nursing staff support to the radiology department.
- Monday through Friday ambulatory unit (no admissions to this unit).
- Sedation PACU experience involved.
Licenses & Certifications Required
- Nursing License: Compact or Connecticut RN License (Permanent CT RN License required; temporary license may be allowed with approval).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only (RQI and HeartCode Complete acceptable)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only (RQI and HeartCode Complete acceptable)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only (RQI and HeartCode Complete acceptable)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - Required for NICU
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Required for ER candidates
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - Required for psych positions (not applicable here)

- Drug testing (10 panel) within 30 days, updated annually.
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption annually.
- References: Two references within past 2 years who directly supervised the candidate.
- Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps.
- Skills checklist updated annually.
- Work history verification for last 7 years.
