Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CA State License

Additional certifications may be applicable based on specialty, such as ACLS or PALS.

Required Skills

• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Rehabilitation
• Adaptive equipment use
• Pre-discharge planning
• Patient assessment, discharge, and evaluation

Background & Verification Requirements

• Background check within 6 months covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• International background check if employment gap outside the US in past 7 years
• Education verification or official transcript/diploma
• Employment application/resume required

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (per agency standard)
• N95 Respirator Fit Test within 1 year for patient-contact roles
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray per protocol
• MMR vaccines or positive titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella
• Hepatitis B full vaccine series and titer or acceptable alternative
• Varicella vaccines or positive titer
• 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Sept 9 - Mar 31)
• COVID-19 primary series and booster vaccines (exemptions accepted per agency)

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
• Candidates should be prepared for floating to acute care units as needed.
• Weekend work is every other weekend.
