Position Details

  • All charting must be completed by 9 AM the following morning
• Dress Code: Scrubs (any color), no jeans
• Technology Provided: iPad provided (no cell phone use allowed)
• Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Required Certifications & Compliance

• BLS (Basic Life Support): Required (AHA, ARC, Military accepted)
• State License Verification: Primary source verification within 90 days of start and upon expiration
• NURSYS Verification: For applicable professions (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 90 days of start
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement: Signed and updated annually

Background Checks & Verifications

  • Education Verification (highest degree related to profession)

  • State-specific searches as applicable (e.g., Texas DPS, Washington WATCH)
  • Fingerprinting requirements vary by state (Alaska, Connecticut, Washington)

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Physician statement within last 12 months (not required annually)
• Fit Mask Test: Required (N95 accepted, no specific model)
• TB Testing: Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year or chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
• TB Questionnaire: Required annually for all candidates
• Vaccinations:

  • Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: Series, titer, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: Series, titer, or declination accepted
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
