Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech

Location

  • Phoenix, Arizona

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Day shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
  • One weekend per month required
  • On-call required

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist
  • CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification

Additional Requirements

  • Current and valid driver’s license, government photo ID, or passport
  • Background checks within 1 year of start date, including SS Trace, 7-year County, National Criminal, and FACIS III
  • Education verification (copy of diploma or official transcripts accepted)
  • Primary source verification of certifications and state license within 15 days prior to start; license must be current and unencumbered
  • Physical exam within one year of start confirming good health and ability to perform job duties
  • Fit mask test within one year of start, updated annually (can be completed onsite)
  • Immunizations and titers required within 72 hours of signing contract:
    • TDAP (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot within 1 year) or chest X-ray if prior positive
    • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: positive titer or proof of 2 vaccines
    • Hepatitis B: completed vaccine series, positive IGG titer, or declination within last year
  • Drug testing with negative results within 30 days of start (specific panels required)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
  • References and employment history verification covering the last 7 years, including explanation for any gaps over 30 days
  • Skills checklist current within one year

Orientation

  • Bi-weekly orientation sessions

Notes

  • First-time travelers are welcome
  • Local candidates are accepted
  • Candidate must complete facility-specific documents including confidentiality and job expectations forms
  • Candidate must watch and upload proof of completion of a New Employee Orientation video before starting
