Requirements/Qualifications

Valid X-Ray Technician license in New York
Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technician experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience imaging AC joints
Imaging of: Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Cervical Spine, Hip, Lumbar Spine, Thoracic Spine, Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Humerus, Scapula, Shoulder, Thumb or finger, Wrist

Required Documentation and Compliance

Government-issued photo ID
7-year criminal background check (including felony checks) within 3 months of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 3 months of start, updated monthly
Education verification from primary source (transcripts/diplomas if no verification on file)
Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
Drug screening within 30 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
Snellen eye exam within 1 year of start
COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required
References (2 within 3 years) required for some candidates
Employment application and work history verification required
Annual skills checklist and competency exams as required
Color blindness test required once
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
State-specific requirements including nurse aide registry and criminal background checks as applicable

Locals accepted but at a lower rate
National certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM may be required depending on unit description
Some certifications and verifications must be completed within 30 days of start
Candidates must complete health-related requirements and lab work within 5 days of signing the contract
