Job Description

• Position: MRI Scan Technologist
• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours (3-12s), 8 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• No on-call duties
• Work alongside regular MRI staff
• Experience required on GE MRI Scan systems, preferably with GE MRI software version 28 or higher

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
• ARRT certification
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience on GE MRI Scan systems, including GE Healthcare systems

Licensure

• Must hold a valid license/certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR)

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or RQI acceptable

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Government-issued photo ID required
• I9 or attestation required
• Facility-specific orientation and compliance documents must be completed prior to start

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test with 3M 1860 mask within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer and series or facility-specific declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (10/1–3/31) unless medically or religiously exempt with proper documentation
• COVID vaccination information required if vaccinated (no declination needed if unvaccinated)

• Radiation badges provided by facility if applicable (no responsibility on agency)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
