Job Description

• Required certifications/licenses at time of application submission:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
  • ARRT rad fluoro permit
• Required experience:

  • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
• Interview availability required
• Shift details:

  • Call shifts: 12 call shifts per month
  • Shift hours: 10-hour day shift, 06:45 AM – 05:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT certification
• Rad Fluoro Permit
• Must meet all state licensing requirements for California

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of W4 and I9 on file
• 7-year criminal background check including:

  • SSN trace
  • County, state, federal, and national criminal and sex offender searches
• HHS/OIG clearance
• Transcript/Diploma (if applicable)
• Primary source license verification within 30 days of start
• National certification verification (ARRT preferred for IR Tech)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• N95 fit test within 1 year of start (specific approved masks required)
• Tdap vaccine (no declinations accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
• Annual TB questionnaire if applicable
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (2 vaccines or titer with boosters if needed)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
• 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or agency declination (year-round requirement)
• COVID-19 vaccination required or approved medical/religious exemption

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific learning modules (approx. 8 hours) prior to start
• Completion of facility-specific documentation checklist and standards of conduct acknowledgment
• Two satisfactory professional references
• Employment application required and subject to annual audit
• Skills checklist required

Notes

• No scrub color requirement; scrubs provided for OR and Labor & Delivery
• Experience with EPIC or Cerner electronic health records preferred (6 months minimum recommended)
• Pyxis acknowledgment required for RNs and respiratory care providers prior to start
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification or module required for Emergency Department travelers (not applicable here)
