Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday
• Work Environment: Stroke center
• Equipment Used: Siemens & GE (experience with at least one required), Sectra (preferred)
• Charting Systems: EPIC, Sectra
• IV Skills: Preferred, as many patients start their own IVs

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Requirements

• Valid state-issued ID
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and other standard verifications
• Education verification (highest completed education)
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start, including physician statement of fitness
• Drug testing within 30 days of start
• Immunizations or valid declinations for:

  • COVID-19 (most recent vaccine or declination)
  • Flu seasonal vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
  • Hepatitis B
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
• TB testing and questionnaire (including chest x-ray if positive)
• Pass required competency exams as applicable

Notes

• Previous experience in stroke care is helpful.
• Call is not required for this position.
• References: 2 references within 3 years of start required.
• Employment application must cover 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• Competency exams and certifications must be current and valid as per facility requirements.
