Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Florence, Kentucky
Night shift: 19:00–07:30, 3x12
13-week contract
Start dates listed: 10/19 or 11/2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ENPC
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with pre cardiac cath and managing ports
Experience with Epic

Schedule

4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period: 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays
Also includes 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
Block scheduling may be accommodated, but is not guaranteed

Float / Assignment Scope

May float between Edgewood and Florence campuses as needed
May float to Observation Units, MS, and MS Tele units
Supports ED boarders across the system
If there are not enough boarders, will float to observation units at EDG and FLO

Compliance / Health Requirements

COVID vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions only
Flu vaccination required
Tdap required within 10 years
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Two clinical references within 2 years

No cafeteria available; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site
Free parking in any unrestricted space
Navy blue scrubs
No agency or brand logos on scrubs
No nose rings or gauged earrings
Nails must be less than 1/4" in length; natural fingernails required for direct client care, polish allowed
