Angiography Tech

Location

Charleston, West Virginia

Assignment Details

Travel/Contract
13 weeks
Day shift: 4x10 hours, typically 7:30a–6p
On-call rotation, including weekdays and weekends
Every third weekend required
40 hours/week guaranteed
Average daily census: 7–10
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in West Virginia
Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Driver's License
Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
Experience with the C-arm
Perform EKG lead placement
Prep access site
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)

Preferred Qualifications

Vascular Intervention Cert
Siemens and Ultrasound

Clinical Setting

Interventional Radiology
Interventional vascular radiology suite
Peripheral angiography/venography with intervention
EVAR
TEVAR
Carotid stenting
Neuro-intervention including acute stroke
Embolization

Responsibilities

Accurate monitoring
Equipment setup
EKG lead placement
Prep access site
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
Room circulator
Scrub and maintain sterile field
Vascular closure systems: Perclose, StarClose
PACS
Maintain equipment, inventory, and supplies
Sterile technique

Floating

Floating required to CAMC General for 1 week

Additional Notes

Blue surgical scrubs issued by the hospital
Cerner charting
Free parking for travelers
