Overview

Travel/Contract role in Glen Burnie, Maryland
13-week contract
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
2 rooms
Adult patient population
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Ability to sedate or circulate with Left heart catheterization
Ability to sedate or circulate with STEMIs
Ability to sedate or circulate with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention)
Ability to sedate or circulate with Right heart catheterization
Ability to perform or assist with pericardiocentesis
Ability to place or manage temporary pacing wires

Preferred Qualifications

Able to sedate or circulate with pacemakers, Bi-V, ICD implantable devices, and Inari for PE cases

Schedule Expectations

Holidays required as scheduled, including 1 holiday shift
3 single weekend call shifts per month
On call 3 shifts per week
Must be able to reach the hospital within 30 minutes when on call

Float Scope

Floating required within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope
