PCU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Camden, New Jersey
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit / Assignment Details

• Unit is a mix of MS and PCU patients
• May float to ICU for a PCU patient that has been downgraded
• Travelers are required to float within 5 hospitals within skillset

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Neuro ICU experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing
• First-time traveler accepted

Preferred

• EPIC experience
• First-time traveler not preferred

Scheduling

• RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted
• Block scheduling not allowed
• Every other weekend / every other holiday
