Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in Chicago, Illinois
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (1 year of experience)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- NBRC certification is required for RRTs
- State license verification is required within 30 days of start
- Color blind testing is required for all candidates
- Unit-specific competency exam is required within 3 years of start and must be updated every 3 years
- Core Part I, Core Part II, Core Part III, and OSHA Mandatory are required and must be updated annually
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam is required as applicable by profession
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam is required for RNs in ICU, PACU, Pediatrics, and Tele
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within the stated timeframe
- TB questionnaire required for Aya candidates
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- 2 professional references, including 1 direct supervisor
- Employment application must be submitted
- Unit-specific skills checklist is required

- Criminal background check required within 6 months of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks must be run within 30 days of start and updated monthly
- Badge photo must be submitted 2 weeks before start
