Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• IV certification
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
• Advanced CT certification

Experience and Work History

• 7-year work history with locations and gaps included
• 2 clinical references verified within 1 year of start

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images
• Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Reformat images for radiologist interpretation
• Use PACS and a teleradiology system to transfer images
• Maintain records, files, billing information, equipment, and supply inventory

Additional Requirements

• Current picture identification
• Background check within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG screening within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 90 days of start
• Drug test within 30 days before start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray, as applicable
• Tdap within 10 years or positive titer
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination as specified
• Color blindness testing
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Annual vaccinations required where applicable
• Annual orientation safety acknowledgement
• Annual NIH Stroke Certification update
• Annual dysrhythmia/EKG competency update
• Annual background check for Aya Direct candidates
