Home Health RN Travel/Contract Job

Location

Duluth, Georgia

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Weekend and on-call expectations vary by location and profession

Setting and Caseload

Home health role with home visits and periodic office meetings
May also visit assisted living facilities and homes
Average patient load: 5–8 patients per day
Productivity expectation: 30 points per week
Territory may require travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Home Health (1 year of experience)
Home Health experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience in Supervisory roles
Driver's License
Hospice experience
Experience with Homecare Homebase
Experience with OASIS

Certifications

Current BLS/CPR

Charting

Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase within the last 6 months
OASIS proficiency required for RNs

Additional Notes

No guaranteed hours
Scrubs required
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
On-call is every 6–7 weeks
Home health experience is requested by the client
