Registered Nurse Job Summary

Role Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: Night shift, 2x12 hours, Saturday and Sunday
Contract length: 13 weeks
Setting: Outpatient clinic-type coverage role with very limited contact with youth

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Any nursing experience except Home Health, Hospice, School Services (1 year of experience)
Any nursing experience except Home Health, Hospice, School Services, within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

Occupational health appointment required before final clearance
Must complete onboarding and confidentiality-related documents electronically
Pass/fail testing and competency testing are required
Medication calculation test and EKG test are given at orientation
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Tdap required; TD is not accepted
Flu vaccine or approved facility exemption required during flu season
COVID vaccination is not mandatory but is highly encouraged

Experience Notes

Outpatient clinic experience is preferred
