Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Pediatrics experience
Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

Background check
Education verification
Drug test within 30 days of start
Physical exam within 12 months of start
TB screening or chest X-ray
Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start
Seasonal influenza vaccination or approved exemption documentation
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or documentation as specified by the employer
Respiratory fit test
Driver’s license or state ID, or passport in lieu of driver’s license
Photo for badge
Signed confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, and contractor checklist documents
Pediatric medication calculation exam
HIPAA acknowledgement or competency

Core Part I, II, and III competencies
