Ultrasound Tech - General

Job Overview

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Location: Leominster, Massachusetts
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
• Hours per Week: 40
• Schedule: Primarily Tuesday through Friday, with possible changes based on unit needs
• Call: Weeknight call from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; some weekend coverage; overnight call is only for ectopics and torsions

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• ARDMS
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Vascular Sonographer experience
• Breast Sonographer experience
• Ob/Gyn Sonographer experience

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Valid driver’s license or state ID
• Massachusetts statewide iCORI release authorization
• Background check
• Education verification for highest completed education
• Transcript may be accepted if education verification cannot be completed; diploma is not accepted
• MA Nurse Aide Registry search
• Massachusetts statewide iCORI clearance attestation
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification
• Tech certification verification
• Physical exam within 12 months of start, with statement of fitness to work without restrictions
• Drug test within 30 days of start
• References: 2 within 3 years of start
• Employment application must include 7 years of employment history and explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Skills checklist prior to start and updated annually as applicable
• COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific declination
• Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination during flu season
• TB questionnaire
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation or approved declinations where allowed
