Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Cape Girardeau, Missouri
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:00
• 40 hours per week
• 75-mile radius

Role Details

• At least 1 year of CVOR experience is required
• Must be proficient in open-heart cases, valves, bypass, and hybrid cases
• Must be comfortable circulating vascular cases, including carotids, Fem-Fem bypass, and Triple A cases
• Must be comfortable setting up lines and drips needed by anesthesia
• When not doing CVOR, nurses will be utilized in other cases
• Includes rotating weekday night and weekend call
• Call weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• One day of call during the week and every 4th–5th weekend
• CVOR nurses will back up General Nurses on call and vice versa

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• CVOR experience within the last year
• 1 year of CVOR experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Tech Cert Verification - National
• Acknowledgement of PassFail Testing
• NURSYS Verification
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable
• Competency Exam, as applicable to profession/specialty
• Color Blind Testing Online
• Background checks and verifications required within 60 days of start
• 2 professional references

• Clear passport-style photo
• Influenza Verification Form
• E-Learning completion and transcript
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Mask fit test within 12 months of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunization/titer documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation for the current flu season
