<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 14, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN to float between Medical Surgical and ICU units on night shifts, requiring Epic experience and OR RN licensure.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Medical Surgical unit as primary assignment with required floating to ICU as needed</li><li>Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30-7:00)</li><li>Telemetry work setting</li><li>Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend</li><li>Floating within site and across the health system as required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active Oregon RN license (or proof of application and fingerprinting) required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of RN experience required</li><li>BLS certification required; PALS/PEARS preferred</li><li>ACLS and NIHSS certifications required</li><li>Epic EMR experience required, including completion of an Epic Test-Out Module</li><li>One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year</li><li>No felony convictions accepted; any background hits require explanation and waiver documentation</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide direct patient care across Medical Surgical and ICU units as assigned</li><li>Must be willing and able to work Thanksgiving plus one additional holiday, including holiday eves</li><li>Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation</li><li>Required to complete assigned education within one week of assignment start</li><li>Subject to mandatory low census cancellation policy, up to one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty</li><li>Must cancel at least 1.5 hours before shift start in low census situations</li><li>Compliance documentation must be completed by the Wednesday prior to start date</li><li>Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of assignment</li><li>Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from any facility within the health system</li><li>Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler</li><li>COVID vaccination documentation required with no exemptions accepted</li><li>First-time travelers are not preferred for this assignment</li></ul>
