Pediatric Home Health Nurse (LVN / LPN) - Ohio, Akron

Job Type

Travel/Contract position
Contract length: 12 weeks

Job Description

Dedicated pediatric home health role providing care in patients' homes (not facility-based)
One patient visit per shift; nurse remains at the same home for the entire shift
Patients primarily on tracheostomies and ventilators
Travel to patient homes up to 1 hour from base location
Night shift options:
- 2 shifts of 12 hours (6pm–6am or 7pm–7am) plus 2 shifts of 8 hours (10pm–6am or 11pm–7am), or
- 5 shifts of 8 hours (11pm–7am)

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in Ohio
Minimum 6 months (0.5 years) experience as an LPN / LVN, with experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients
Experience in Home Health, Home Care, and Acute Care settings
