Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Travel/Contract)

Location: San Francisco, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Neurological/orthopedic physical therapist role in an outpatient setting
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5 days x 8 hours)
• No on-call, weekend, or floating duties

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Comprehensive background checks including:

  • Social Security Trace with all aliases
  • County searches for last 7 years
  • Nationwide Sex Offender Search within 90 days of start
  • FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks updated annually
• Education verification of highest level achieved (not required if highest education is high school)
• Employment verification for up to 7 years, with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• References: 2 professional references within last 3 years required

Health and Safety Requirements

• Respiratory safety clearance completed prior to start and renewed annually (not required for some non-clinical roles)
• Color vision exam by licensed healthcare provider if applicable
• Drug testing excludes marijuana/cannabinoids due to California law effective 1/1/24
