Job Description

• Assist in the care of surgical patients during procedures.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
• Understand the surgical procedure and anticipate the surgeon’s needs.
• Ensure quality patient care and maintain the sterile field throughout the operation.
• Follow instructions from Physicians and RNs, adhering to hospital policies related to the Operating Room.
• Maintain a safe environment by practicing Standard Precautions and complying with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technician required.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking.

Contract Length

• 8 weeks
