Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Dialysis

Location: Neptune, New Jersey

Job Summary

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in an outpatient Dialysis center.
• Minimum 1 year experience with In-Center Hemodialysis (ICH).
• Knowledge of Fresenius T Machine and portable RO systems.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior Telemetry and chronic hemodialysis experience highly preferred.
• Ability to manage a 3-patient assignment for put-on and take-off.
• Ability to manage a 9-patient assignment with 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) for medication administration and assessment.

Education Requirements

• Required: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing)
• Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Certifications & Licensure

• Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified
• Required: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• Preferred: None specified
