Job Opportunity: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Assist physicians with radiological imaging and act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events.
- Provide patient care under RN supervision.
- Educate patients and families about the procedure, including pre- and post-procedure expectations and physical conditions.
- Maintain unit orderliness, cleanliness, and appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures.
- Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards.
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and potential safety hazards.
- Promote organizational mission, vision, and values, adhering to service behavior standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
- Cardiovascular Technologist experience within the last year.
