• 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Specialty Focus

• Orthopedics and plastics
• Ability to work in those service lines
• Experience with joints/revisions, spine, oncology cases, trauma, sports medicine, and free/diep flaps
• Ability to work with multiple reps and systems, especially Stryker and Synthes

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• CST
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in orthopedics and plastics service lines
• Ability to scrub joints with revisions, spine, oncology, trauma, and sports medicine cases
• Knowledge and ability to work with multiple reps and systems, especially Stryker and Synthes

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile environment and correct breaks in sterility
• Scrub cases independently at an expert level
• Apply surgeon preference lists for instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Assist with room setup, positioning, and OR turnover
• Inspect, prepare, and ensure sterilization of surgical instruments
• Support on-call cases when required
• Participate in education, precepting, and onboarding of new staff
• Collaborate with the surgical team and contribute to quality and cost-saving initiatives
