RN - NICU - Travel

Job Overview

• Location: Moreno Valley, California
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Shift: Days
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS
• NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience preferred
• PEDS/PICU experience preferred, as the nurse may float

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, reassess, and document patient needs and care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and document patient responses, including pain management and teaching effectiveness
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
• Follow patient safety, infection control, restraint, transfusion, and disaster policies
• Provide age-appropriate neonatal care, including assessments, fluid and nutritional calculations, blood sampling, line setup, and ventilator-related support
