Interventional Technologist I

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Schedule

  • 4x10 shifts
  • On-call coverage on nights and weekends, approximately 8–10 shifts per month
  • May need to work overtime

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • ARRT (RT)

Role Overview

  • Assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
  • Supports procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management
  • Prepares patients for procedures and provides comfort
  • Serves as scrub tech during procedures and maintains a sterile field
  • Performs quality control, equipment cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance
  • Supports documentation, image transfer, and post-testing quality review
  • May assist with teaching, precepting, and onboarding team members
