Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Travel)

Location: Newburgh, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts (variable start times between 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM), Monday to Friday, with possible weekends as needed
• Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week (except holidays when unit may be closed)
• Float Requirements: Must float between two nearby campuses (8 miles apart), usually assigned to one based on skillset; mid-shift floating possible
• On Call: On call 1x/week and every 6th weekend with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend/Holiday: Scheduled as needed

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum Specialty Experience: 2+ years Operating Room experience
• Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Required Skills:

  • Neuro experience required
  • Experience with Robot/General/ENT/Plastics/Ortho surgeries
  • Mostly general and ortho surgeries, including ortho trauma, vascular, and neuro cases
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • Indiana or Compact nursing license
• Charting System: Epic

• 40-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates considered

This position offers a dynamic OR environment with a variety of surgical specialties and requires flexibility in floating between campuses and on-call availability.
