Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: None
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 2:1
• Number of Beds: 4
• Charting System: Cerner
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Triage and Labor
• Special Procedures: Induction
• Float Requirement: As needed within skillset
• Areas of Float Support: None

Required Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Requirements

• Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with Induction special procedures
