Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role involves delivering care primarily to an adult patient population. The position follows the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks (88 days converted to weeks).

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Cardiac Telemetry Care.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population including those with MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients requiring close cardiac monitoring and assessment.
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through at least two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing, qualifying for RN licensure.
