Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. The RN will supervise licensed and non-licensed staff, apply evidence-based practice, and participate in a Practice Governance framework. Responsibilities include assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, as well as mentoring and precepting staff.

Key Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments and reassessments, making sound independent decisions.
Develop, prioritize, and implement plans of care; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
Provide and evaluate education tailored to patient and family needs during stay and at discharge.
Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as mentor/preceptor.
Promote teamwork and identify opportunities for improvement.
Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for Kentucky.
Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience.
