Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS
• NRP
• PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Experience

• 3 years of experience
• PEDS and PICU experience preferred

Job Summary

• Provides admission assessments, ongoing reassessments, care planning, medication administration, patient/family education, documentation, and coordination with the care team for NICU patients.
• Follows patient safety, infection control, restraint, disaster response, blood transfusion, and handoff policies.
• Uses age-specific nursing practices and supports parent interaction in the NICU.
