Overview

• Travel allied clinical role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Shift: 3rd shift, 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.

Role Summary

• Under limited supervision, prepares patients for routine EEG, EMG, long-term and intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, autonomic testing, Neuro Interventional radiology WADA, and PET.
• Performs diagnostic and investigative studies in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in critical care units for patients of all ages served by the department.
• May be required to float to other sites to support department operations.
• Additional duties include charge capture, scheduling, documentation, patient check-in, and reviewing/clipping EMU and continuous EEG files.

Required Qualifications

• EEG Technologist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of EEG Technologist experience.
• EMG Technologist experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician.
• Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing.
• Autonomics.
• Long Term Monitoring.
• Evoked Potentials.
• Magnetoencephalography.
• Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalography E Evoked Potentials (ABRET).
• Registered by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) in at least one of the following:

  • Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (EEG)
  • Registered Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV)
  • Certified Autonomic Professional (CAP)
  • Certified Long Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM)
  • Registered Evoked Potential Technolo
