Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

Location: Peoria, Illinois
Employment Type: Clinical Nursing
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during assigned shifts.
Utilize nursing process, current nursing trends, technology, and resources to deliver quality care.
Perform initial patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
Implement and modify nursing interventions based on ongoing patient evaluation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
Ensure patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience in Orthopedics.
