SLP - Peds - Therapy Annex

Location

  • Urbana, Illinois

Schedule

  • Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 26-week contract
  • 40 hours per week

Role Summary

  • Evaluates and treats patients of all ages.
  • Evaluates patients with speech and feeding-related impairments.
  • Assesses feeding and swallowing impairments.
  • Coordinates with pediatric PT/OT on treatment interventions.
  • Completes daily documentation and charging in therapy EMR.
  • Serves as a clinical resource for staff and students.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Valid Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist license in Illinois.
  • Speech Language Pathologist experience.
  • Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience).
  • Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year.
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association.

Clinical Ladder / Additional Duties

  • Annual requirements for senior status include supervision of students, completing an approved project, and one in-service training.
