Travel Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation; no block schedule requests
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (1 cancellation allowed per 2-week period)
- Float Requirements: May float to Telemetry or Emergency Department; may assist as an aide if needed
- On Call/Call Back: None
Unit Information
- ICU: 12 beds, patient ratio 1:2/3
- Telemetry: 24 beds, patient ratio 1:5
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN License
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with strong telemetry skills
- Prior travel experience required (at least one completed travel contract)
- Charting experience with Meditech highly preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved medical/religious exemption
Additional Information
- No return to office (RTO) over 7 days accepted
- Orientation is bi-weekly, 12 hours non-billable
- Candidate should be resilient, able to manage change well, and socially adaptable
