Job Overview

Schedule

• Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend rotation
• Holiday rotation required

Assignment Details

• Primary location: Inpatient Behavioral Health
• May float to another inpatient behavioral health unit if needed
• Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly
• Overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Unit has 11 beds with a maximum capacity of 8
• Typical patient ratio: 1 RN to 5-6 patients when full

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Behavioral Health experience within the last year
• 1 year of Behavioral Health experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

• Behavioral health experience
• Medical/surgical background
• Epic charting experience

Clinical Responsibilities

• Medication passing
• Patient care
• Documentation
• Milieu management

Additional Notes

• Contractors must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Any scrub color is allowed
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
