Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)

Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 6 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours: 48 hours per week guaranteed
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required unless approved time off
• Float Requirements: May float to Med Surg or Cardiac units with lower ratios; may assist as aide on other units as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• Unit Size: 59 beds in a 340-bed Level II Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

• License: Kentucky or Compact RN License
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • EKG test required during compliance process
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years ICU specialty experience
  • Must have Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Charting: Care View/EPIC preferred (training provided onsite)
• Skills: Level I or Level II ICU skillset

• Scrub color: Royal blue
• COVID-19 vaccine required unless medically or religiously exempt; if exempt, weekly testing at traveler’s expense is required
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• 75-mile radius rule applies
