Registered Nurse – Long Term Care

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour shifts, primarily PM (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM), flexibility required
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Schedule Details:

Every other weekend required
Holidays as needed
Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks
No on-call or call-back requirements
Float within facility and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius, based on skillset

Job Description

Work primarily in Long Term Care, Assisted Living, and Rehab settings
Patient ratios: 1:10 in Rehab; 1:24 in LTC/Assisted Living with CNA assistance (CNA ratio 1:10)
Charting experience preferred with EPIC system
Orientation includes 8 hours of unbillable training
Scrub color: Black

Required Qualifications

Current Wisconsin RN license
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Long Term Care or related settings
Experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, and Rehab
Prior travel experience preferred (at least 1 completed travel contract)

Local candidates accepted
Guaranteed hours except during holidays when unit may be closed
Floating to other facilities within a 60-mile radius may be required
