Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Unit: Medical/Surgical 6th Floor
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (start time 5:30 PM)
• Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekend: Every other weekend (option for every weekend available)
• Holiday: Holiday rotation required
• Float: Required to float within facility and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius, based on skillset
• On Call/Call Back: None
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6 on nights
• Primary Cases: Trauma surgical, Neuro, Orthopedic
• Scrub Color: Black

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Minimum 3+ years experience as an RN
• Minimum 2+ years Medical-Surgical experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required (previous travel experience mandatory)
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years
• Must have Neuro/Ortho trauma experience
• No new travelers accepted (must have prior travel experience)

Additional Information

• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, and social candidates preferred
• Billing week runs Sunday through Saturday
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
• Start date: ASAP
