Role Overview

Travel RN in Labor & Delivery
Unit: Delivery Room / (708)
Shift: 7P–7A
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS
ACLS
NRP
EFM-C or AWHONN
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications

Circulating C-sections
High risk LDR experience

Unit Details

26 beds
Typical patient ratios include:
- 1:1 for high risk labor c-sections
- 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, and PP on mag
- 1:3 for PP mag no baby and outpatients
Common procedures:
- C-sections and inductions
- AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler
Equipment includes Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN(GE) monitor
